  2. I really love how some manufacturers are making drivers cars like the new Toyota hatchback and this new type r. This looks like so much fun to drive!

  3. I have moded old Type R (K20) with 4:2:1 exhaust manifold connected to 3" single pipe with mufler. It is quite silent on low RPM but when you go over 8k it is awsome. I know performance is lower then a new model by quite a bit, but i like my car. CTR is always made for fun and I hope this one will be the same.

  4. New design looks like it’s for the guys that stick their dick through the hole in their boxers to have sex with their wife who haven’t looked at them in five years.

  5. This reveal was a total fail. The way Honda mentioned this back in December was that we were going to be able to actually see the car. Instead, we got the same shit we saw over a month ago.

  6. You are right! The sound from a Honda 4 cylinder is just not there. The new one will be a nice car and I like the body much better than previous, but it’s 4 cylinder sound is a killjoy!

May upgrade my RS3 into the new style RS3.

  8. It’s nice but pretty sure once this car hits the dealership price would be insane probably around 55-60k lol since most of the new si are like 35k on some dealerships.

  9. I think I would have likes Civics a lot more but during that import era in the late 90s, early 2000's everyone with a Civic regardless the model/engine people dropped exhausts, intakes, threw on spoilers, added type-r stickers etc and drove around like they had a beast machine. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the work that has been put into this Type-R and its nothing like what I described what I saw years ago but at the end of the day it is still a Civic to me and I wouldn't spend that much on one.

  10. It’s hard to be excited about this knowing how difficult it will be to find one and how dealers will have 10k+ markups on them.

  11. Dealer Gouging will always be present especially with cars such as these BUT I was lucky to purchase my 2019 CTR for sticker when they had two black ones on the showroom floor. I traded that one in a year later with 80k miles on it for 2k over sticker for a 2021 Crystal Blue CTR. I’ll keep my 10th gen but if I decide to get an 11th Gen….I’ll buy a plane ticket and fly to wherever in the states I can get one at sticker before I’ll ever pay 10-15 over sticker! Every state has a different cost of living etc. and therefore have more wiggle room than say a dealership in California for example.

  12. I’m happy that Honda is bringing it back for the generation. I don’t think it’s for me, but you never know. I had a 2009 Civic Si two door and that’s one of my favorite cars all-time. We shall wait and see. Thanks for the great update!

  13. I didn't like the 11th gen Civic until I seen one irl. It changed my mind. 👍 I'm looking forward to the Type R. 😎

  14. Absolutely worth the wait. I'm waiting to pre-order one as soon as it comes out to the market. But!!!! Not willing to pay for the markup!

  15. No Fog Lights on the Honda Civic models no matter it on the: LX, EX, EX-L, SPORT, TOUR, none on SI or the TYPE R! There are people like me NEEDS fog lights and no one like to break the cover to buy cheap aftermarket fog lights looks so cheap on it!!!!

  16. Looks much less aggressive than X bit like dolfin – It will be same engine like in X and IX – for obvious reasons. Nobody have time and money for doing new petrol engines under this crazy emission rules( accept German manufacturers which make those rules ;p)
    So :
1 . Slightly tuned Powertrain from fk2 and fk8 – i think 10-20 hp is max. Incerased power will fallow "cleaner" design and lil sound proofing i guess (they are not touching Nurburing so they will add weight).
Honda is taking Type R from Race to more Comfy Mode ( hope for more sales)- thats for sure.
2 . Upgraded interior – less touch screen control – buttons will be back .
3 . Improved Sound – check this oOo design – it will be bit LOuder
