  1. 4:40 Yeah well I gotta say I'm one of them, and maybe for one good reason if your the kind of person who likes keep your vehicle for long periods of a time. The TT V6 will not have anywhere near as much longlife reliability as the V8's. You put twin turbo units on any engine it's gonna wear out the engine faster. The naturally aspirated V8's could run practically forever. Toyota could have made a big mistake on their part of the Landcruiser in terms of sales.

  2. So this is slower to brake by 0.1 g (due to smaller front brakes) and noisier than the 300 Series Sahara that you reviewed recently by 2 dB, probably due to lack of carpets.

  3. Can’t believe a landcruiser is that quick now. I remember turbocharged sports cars of the 80s and even 90s struggled for 0-100s in the 7s

  5. Crazy stuff even our new Fortuner we paid 66k for drive out is just under 8 seconds 0-100km in that 2.8L it's crazy the output you get from a 4wd even with a short 1st gear. 300 with 10sp is just a dream it looks like. Hopefully we get a good 3 years out of our Fortuner and we can maybe afford a GX 300 on trade in with a bit of finance. Dream car. I'm even surprised tare weight is only 2400 as well! Ancap gave an amazing rating too there is a good video showing all the impact and safety test and outcome 10/10 vehicle to own.

  6. To put in perspective, I have a 2001 Landcruiser 4.2td with when it had my old tune last month (195AWKW, and 620nm) It was neck and neck with some old guy in a stock lc300. Very surprisingly quick.
